VI COMMANDO

L/Sgt. C. Etheridge, formerly of the Royal Signals Corps and No.2 Commando, served with No.6 Commando from at least 7^th December 1941 - having suffered injuries including multiple superficial wounds and lacerated right thigh wound following the grenade accident aboard HMS Prince Charles on 9^th December 1941 during the preparations for the raid on Florø (Norway)

In September 1944, it is noted that L/Sgt. C. Etheridge was interned at Stalag IVB Mühlberg on the River Elbe (Germany) as PoW No.225515.
